At Saint Georges, the cuisine showcases the best of the Fribourg region while offering a varied menu. Alongside regional specialties such as \u201cmoiti\u00e9-moiti\u00e9\u201d fondue, chalet macaroni, r\u00f6sti, and chalet soup, the menu also features wood-fired pizzas, meat dishes, fish, and pasta. There\u2019s something to satisfy every taste.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n

Bright and facing the Pre-Alps, La V\u00e9randa offers a panoramic view of the Fribourg peaks. It is both modern and inviting, perfect for dining any time of year\u2014whether as a couple, with family, or in a group.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n

The Pizzeria<\/h2>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n

Centered around the wood-fired oven, the pizzeria offers a more rustic and welcoming atmosphere. It\u2019s the perfect spot for a relaxed dinner with friends or family, with the crackling of the fire in the background.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n

The Poya Hall<\/h2>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n

A large poya runs the entire length of the wall, blending Fribourg tradition with contemporary lines. Connected to the Veranda by sliding doors, it can be opened to expand the space or closed to create a more intimate setting, ideal for private events.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n

Located in the heart of the medieval town, our terrace overlooks Gruy\u00e8res\u2019 central square. Open for all meals during the warmer months\u2014enjoy lunch in the sun, dinner on sunny days, or simply stop by for an aperitif.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n

For group meals, we\u2019ve created special set menus that simplify the selection process without compromising the variety of our menu. Whether it\u2019s a family outing, a team dinner, or a get-together with friends, the restaurant can accommodate groups of up to 145 people, and up to 180 people in our Saint Georges dining room.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n
