At Le Saint Georges, our cuisine reflects the spirit of the house: generous, authentic, and deeply rooted in the Fribourg region. Local specialties such as moitié-moitié fondue, chalet macaroni, rösti, and chalet soup are served alongside wood-fired pizzas, meat and fish dishes, and pasta, creating a menu that caters to every taste and every generation.

The Veranda
Bright and overlooking the Fribourg Prealps, the veranda offers panoramic views of the surrounding peaks. Both modern and inviting, it provides the perfect setting to enjoy a meal in every season, whether as a couple, with family, or as a group.

The Pizzeria
Centered around its wood-fired oven, the Pizzeria offers a rustic and welcoming atmosphere. It is the perfect setting for a relaxed dinner with family or friends, accompanied by the comforting crackle of the fire.

The Poya Hall
A large traditional poya mural gives the room its distinctive character, blending Fribourg heritage with contemporary design. Connected to the Veranda by sliding doors, the space can be opened to create a larger venue or closed to provide a more intimate setting, ideal for private events.

The Terrace
In the heart of the medieval town, the terrace extends the restaurant onto the main square of Gruyère. Open throughout the warmer months, it provides the perfect setting to enjoy every moment of the day.

Group Meals
For group dining, dedicated set menus make planning easy while preserving the variety of our cuisine. The restaurant can accommodate groups of up to 145 guests, while the Saint Georges Hall can host events for up to 180 guests.
Breakfast
Every morning from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., our breakfast buffet features a selection of local products and homemade pastries. Open to both hotel guests and visitors, it offers the perfect start to the day in the warm spirit of Le Saint Georges.
